Mrs. Haugh Helps Students Through Difficult Year

Mrs. Haugh teaches different subjects like Health, Teacher Cadet, and Nutrition and Cooking. I’ve had her as a teacher twice throughout my high school years and she’s a great teacher. Mrs. Haugh has been at CLHS for years and is favored by current and alumni students. If you want to know a little more about her and how she feels about this school year just keep on reading.

Q: How long have you been teaching at CLHS?

A: This is my 21st year at CL. 

Q: What do you enjoy most about teaching?

A: Getting to know students, I have learned so much about life from them over the years. 

Q: How has this school year impacted you?

A: It has been hard/sad watching students struggle with this new learning format. 

Q: What are some hobbies you have outside of school?

A: Spending time with my family.

Q: What has been the hardest part about teaching this year?

A: Keeping track of the various schedules and which students are on which tracks.

Q: How do you stay organized in a time like this?

A: Post-It Notes, lots & lots of Post-It Notes.

Q: What is your favorite class to teach?

A: Educational Careers.

Q: Do you prefer a hybrid or regular learning schedule?

A: Regular learning. 

Q: Do you have any special talents?

A: Not really, I’m pretty boring. 

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: Indian Summer.

As we continue to make the best out of this tough school year, Mrs. Haugh doesn’t seem to be leaving CLHS anytime soon.
